I have a gt 31 with firmware V1.4 (b0315c)

I can not find the history max speed and 10 s max avg.

Where can I find it or what is missing?

Yes I have read it, but I can't find history max and history avg 10 sec off the day.

It shows only speed, 10 sec avg, and then together the max speed and 10 sec avg.
It missed the fastest ( best ) time and run of the day. I can only see it when I look in the restore site.

What is wrong?

wat zie je als in de restore functie kijkt? Zie je dan een aantal snelheden staan, meer dan 2?

Ik heb bij restore meerdere tijden staan. Dit is correct. Maar wat ik bedoel is als in het menu speed de rotterende functie speed - 10 sec avg - en beide onderelkaar aanzet heb je 3 dezelfde tijden. De tijden zie je dan verspringen.

Maar wat ik wil is dat de gps de snelste max speed en snelste 10 sec avg run van de dag laat zien na de run die net gemaakt hebt. En als het goed is staat er dan bij history max!

Heb dit met Sander van Huizen besproken en ik krijg de history van de dag niet automatisch te zien. Ik moet dus altijd in mijn gps zoeken bij restore naar de snelste tijden van de dag zijn. Terwijl de gt  31 het wel moet kunnen aangeven. Want bijv. bij Sander geeft de gps gt 31 dat wel zo aan.

Ik heb hetzelfde probleem met nieuwe gps met zelfde  firmware V1.4 (b0315c) standaard uit fabriek. Er mist een scherm van historie max. Heb je hier al een oplossing voor gevonden Michael?
B0315T is degene waar je zeker een history max in kan terugzien.

I have the same firmware version as Dylan and I do have the history max screen as well. However, just a stab in the dark here, but can one of you verify that under the menu Misc in his GT-31 all of the following options are set to "on": 
1) Max/NS Max

2) History Max

3) Max speed

4) NS Max Avg

Those are the options that are set to 'on' for me and I have the same screens as I used to have with firmware version 1.3.



Ik heb gisteren zelf een andere V1.4 (b0315t) versie erop gezet. Je krijgt nu direct te zien history speed en avg. (in het menu van speed.)
De "c "versie is NIET goed! Je komt in het menu misc de stukjes tekort om de history uit te kunnen lezen. Ook zijn er nog veel meer andere opties die beter zijn en leuker met de T versie.

Het is goed tedoen om de andere versie erop te zetten. Met de beschrijving van Tom Chalko gaat het zeker lukken. :))
Aha bedankt Oane en Michael. Ik mis inderdaad een paar opties bij Misc. Zal nu de andere software laden en hopen dat het dan goed is.
En ik moet zeker Sander Van Huizen bedanken, want hij heeft voor mij de andere versie erop gezet.
Zonder hem lag ik nu nog liggen zwemmen in het oude firmware! Ik kwam daar niet uit...:))

We have the same problem with our second GPS bought last year. I have noticed that the "Misc"  menu has the ffollowing missing options  Delete , Save to Card , Trip Auto Save, Trip Min Speed, Max/NS Max, History Max, Max Speed, NS Max Avg, New Font. compared to an older GT 31 which is working correctly, all other settings are identical and I have followed Tom's instructions and updated the latest software with no success. The Misc menu options on the new GT 31  are Calendar, Screen flip and reserved  only !

(V1.4(B0315C)  New GT 31   

(V1.4(B0803T)  Old GPS

After we return home from windsurfing all the "data" is present on the PC analysis software, it's just a pain in the ass not being able to see the speed genie results on the beach while sailing like the older GT 31

Please advise how to correct by software or is it a faulty GT 31 ?

I have fixed the problem by going back to (V1.4 B08003T) from Tom's site http://mtbest.net/setting-up-navi-GT31.htm . The settings on the MiSC menu have all appeared on the new GPS and the speed genie is working.
