| So, where are the kiters for GPS speed runs?
After checking out the WISSA pictures, it seems like there should be some interest with speeds for these guys, afterall, they are the fastest in the world on water!!!
Even faster than I dare go on ice!!! :)
I can imagine a kite with a pair of skiis will do quite well with speed on just the right surface.

| Hi Jeffrey,
I'll be there next winter....with pleasure. Don't know if I'll ever get close to the 50's knots, awsome speed you guys managed to do! As you know, we also need very special conditions, like on Winnipesaukee Lake. Hope to have a little bit of that for next winter....
See you next winter!
Regards, M.
PS: Thumb's up to all of you!

| NICE! Welcome aboard Marcel!
That recent session post will hopefully be added into 2010 overall results and place you quite well!
I don't think us "Free sailors" will ever be able to catch the iceboats!
Days are already getting shorter!

| Thanks Jeffrey!
I'm very happy to be part of the winter club. There is no need to adding it to the 2010 season. The rule NO.14 is clear: "has to be posted within 7 days" or..... I wouldn't want to push anyone aside because of my late entry. Beside, I'll have plenty of time to kick your ass next year ( big smile, joke) .
Of course the boat people are giving us a great challenge....I'm impress by the speed!
I'll try to get and invite some of the speeders from Montreal to be part of the game Icesailing.com
In the mean time, I'll go and practice my speed on the water in Magdalen Island for the summer!
Take care!
Marcel
